Turn your radio on, support urgent care
Dan Domizio is scheduled to be the guest on Gary Safarik's Insight radio show Monday at 8 a.m. on KHBC 1060 AM and 92.7 FM. Domizio's urgent care medical facility being planned at Pahoa Marketplace is one of the best things going in Puna and should have all our support. So listen in, give the show a call, and support the project any way you can. I couldn't make it to the meeting in Pahoa Thursday on suggestions for using the geothermal funds, but if I had gone, I would have said there's no better use for that money in Puna than this sorely needed project.

1. Turn out at the County Council meetings on 4/21 and 5/7 and testify in support of our application for a nonprofit grant from the County to help us start up.
2. Buy some tickets to Women's Comedy Night ($10 advance and $12 at the door) to support the facility, and at the same time buy a large purple recycled shopping bag with the clinic logo for $5. Ticket outlets are Luquin's Mexican Restaurant, Sirius Coffee and Puna Pharmacy in Pahoa and Keaau Naturals.
3. Do your Spring Cleaning and donate all that good stuff that you're really aren't using to the "Oldies but Goodies" Sale that will benefit the facility. Drop offs of your "gently used items" will be in front of the newest building in the Pahoa Marketplace on May 3, 4, 10 & 11 from 8 to noon (look for the tent and banner out front). The Sale itself will be on Sat., May 17th from 8 to noon behind the Pahoa Subway.
