A misspelling, mahalos and good food

An apology to Grant Jones for misspelling the name of his blog, The Dougout, which I shouldn't have done because I know it's a play on the name of one of his heroes, Gen. Douglas MacArthur.

And mahalos to those who encouraged me to follow my better instincts and ignore the rantings of those writers not worth commenting upon. I will do my best to listen, though at times I admit weakness in the face of so much nonsense.

And as Rodion pointed out about Jim O'Keefe, there are those who apparently get sucked in by the claptrap for whatever reasons, so I really think it can't be totally ignored. Someone must stand up and expose the malicious prattle for just what it is at least once in a while. I too wish that O'Keefe, whom I know to be an otherwise all-around good guy, would disassociate himself from the Hawaii Free Press rag, since I find it too difficult to resist buying his bread.

Lastly, while on a food run, anyone else notice Paulo's restaurant has moved out of Pahoa to Waiakea Villas in Hilo? A huge loss for Puna, but good luck to Paulo in his new location. Sadly now several empty store fronts dot downtown's main street at the former restaurant and its surrounding area.
